Miners Market  

Miners Market, Immokalee, Commercial Facade Grant Project 2012521 South First Street This convenience store, located directly across the street from the Seminole Casino, was destroyed by a fire in early 2012. As a result, the owner has embarked on a complete demolition and redevelopment of the business structure. The Immokalee CRA agreed on June 26, 2012 to provide $20,000 in grant assistance to go towards the redevelopment efforts. The project is expected to be finished in December, 2012. The renovated business will offer residents and visitors to the area fuel, deli foods and other convenience store items.

Paralegal & Notary Services, LLC

Paralegal & Notary Services, LLC, Immokalee, Commercial Facade Grant Project 20121007 North 15th Street (SR 29) This building is located directly on the busy State Route 29 corridor in Immokalee. It has historically been used as a residential structure but recently came under new ownership. The new owner will be renovating the entire structure. Through its new use, the new business structure will provide legal services to the greater Immokalee area. On September 11, 2012 the Immokalee CRA agreed to provide $20,000 in grant assistance to go towards the exterior renovations of the building.

Chez Nuos Dadou Restaurant

Chez Nuos Dadou Restaurant, Immokalee, Commercial Facade Grant Project 2012211 West Main Street In mid-2012, this commercial structure was severely damaged when a car drove directly through the storefront of the building. The owner came to the CRA requesting assistance through the Commercial Façade Improvement Grant Program to rebuild the business. On June 26, 2012 the CRA agreed to provide $16,367 in grant funds to assist the owner with exterior repairs to the building. This money will be used for new windows, doors, trim work, stucco and paint.
