Advisory Board

The Immokalee CRA has an Advisory Board made up of local residents and business owners within the Redevelopment Area. This group meets the third Wednesday of each month at 8:30 a.m. for its regular meetings. Occasionally there are other workshops or meetings at other times during the month.

Dr. Frank Nappo of Naples has a longstanding involvement in volunteering and public service. He has served as a board member of the Naples Art Association at Von Liebig Art Center since 2005 and was President of the association’s board for four years. He is the current President of Drug Free Collier serving on the board for the past six years; and is President of Immokalee Housing and Family Services, serving on the board since 2008. He was appointed to serve on the Governor’s Commission on Community Service, Volunteer Florida in 2011. In 2013 he was appointed to the Volunteer Florida Foundation as a board member. In 2014.he was appointed to the Immokalee CRA and Residential options of Florida Boards.
Dr. Nappo is retired from a distinguished career in education including his role as Dean of Liberal Arts and Associate Professor at Burlington County College. He earned his Ed. D. at Rutgers University and both his B.A. and M.A. degrees at New Jersey City University.
Following his career in teaching and administration, Dr. Nappo was an Account Executive at Retex Corporation until his retirement in 2001.

Null Notary & Tax Service Inc has been providing tax and notary services to the Immokalee area since 1970. I am a member of the National Society of Accounts. A member of the Florida Society of Accountants and a member of the local Southwest Florida Society of Accountants. I am the Past Vice President of the state Accountants and at this time I am the President Elect fot the period of 2013-2014.

I am a member of the Masonic Blue Lodge of Labelle, Florida. A member of the Araba Shriners Masonic Lodge and the Scottish Rite of Freemasonry Lodges of Fort Myers, Florida.
I am also at this time a member of the Immokalee Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors.

I have lived in Immokalee since I was 16 years old and have seen alot of changes to the town and the area. With the exception of while I was serving in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam era have lived here since we moved here.

Edward (Ski) Olesky

Mr. Olesky is an appointed member of the Immokalee Master Plan and Visioning Committee (IMPVC) where he stalwartly assisted with the development of the Immokalee Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) newly drafted Master Plan.  A well respected member the Immokalee business community, Mr. Olesky is the owner of the Lake Trafford Marina and Airboats & Alligators, Inc. in Immokalee.

He has been an active member in local civic organizations such as the Immokalee Enterprise Zone Development Agency and the Immokalee Rotary Club. Mr. Olesky also donates endless hours of his personal time each year to act as Santa Claus for under privileged children and various charitable organizations.  Mr. Olesky serves on the Board of Directors of Collier County Parks and Recreation, Tourist Development Council, Empowerment Alliance of Southwest Florida, Immokalee Chamber of Commerce and Collier Health Services; and Mr. Olesky is an elected Fire Commissioner.

Julio Estremera

Small Business Development Center, FGCU

Julio Estremera is a certified business analyst/program facilitator for the Florida Gulf Coast University’s Small Business Development Center.  Since 1983, Estremera has managed, consulted, owned and operated Dunkin Donuts Franchises and various family owned businesses. Also has counseled hundreds of small businesses throughout SWFL, Puerto Rico and the United States. Has, provided guidance to Mexico with formation of their SBDC Network.

Julio’s entrepreneurial background and networking abilities in the Collier County community have helped him to promote the small business programs in the mainstream areas as well as the more rural areas of Immokalee, Hendry and Glades Counties.  Because of the impact that Julio generated as he began to counsel and offer educational opportunities, Workforce Development gifted office space for Julio in the one Stop Career & Services Center in Immokalee.  The opening of first SBDC full-service sub center office in the Career & Services Center it demonstrated and supported the outreach that Julio has and how it has manifested into something that directly supports the community.

Julio is a frequent speaker and facilitator for the Southwest Florida Hispanic Chamber of Commerce seminar series and often submits articles in various Hispanic magazines and television and radio shows.  He is an active member of the Immokalee Chamber of Commerce and works closely as a panel member with SWFL Workforce Development strategic planning process and Economic Development Council of Collier County.

Mike Facundo

Mike Facundo currently works for the Redlands Christian Migrant Association (RCMA). He oversees the preventative maintenance of the RCMA’s facilities in Immokalee, including its daycare center, its two charter schools and the current construction of the new RCMA administration building.

Before joining RCMA, he worked for Stofft Cooney Architects.

As chairman of the Immokalee Community Redevelopment Agency Advisory Board (CRA), he ensures the committee handles all business matters in an orderly manner; helps guide the committee work toward common goals to benefit the community as a whole; and stimulates group discussion.

He was awarded the New Upcoming Leader Award from the Immokalee Chamber of Commerce and won two Designs of Excellence Awards while attending school at Florida Atlantic University School of Architecture.

Martha Williams

I am the owner of an accounting firm, Martha D. Williams Inc., since March 1973. I am founder and sole owner. I do bookkeeping, tax preparation, and notary public services. I am a member of Florida Society of accountants and also the local chapter of Sourthwerst Florida society of accountants.

I am a lifetime resident of Immokalee. I am a fifth generation resident of Immokalee. Both my parents, Gee and Emma Dupree, are also originals here. My dad came here when he was 18 months old and my mother was born and raised here in Immokalee. Therefore I have very deep roots in Immokalee.
In my spare time, I like to walk, ride and look at the countryside. In the fall I enjoy the mountains. I love helping people anonymously. I am married and the mother of two. I also have four grandchildren.

Throughout Southwest Florida, Jim Wall is known as the “Career Doctor”, not only because of his expertise in the delivery of both job seeker and business related training programs but also because he volunteers much of his time to community based organizations who have come to rely on his up-beat, professional presentations to help motivate and educate both job seekers and business leaders.

Mr. Wall earned a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from The University of Minnesota, Duluth. Over the past twenty years he has focused his professional experiences on business training and career counseling aspects of human resources including:

  • Coordinating federal and state funded performance-based employment programs
  • Established Job (Career) Fairs throughout Southwest Florida
  • Design and implementation of Community Career Resource Centers
  • Development and delivery of employability and life skills workshops
  • Career Counseling, Job Coach and Employer Service Facilitator
